In Day 3, I talked about a desire to rip apart the theory of "The One". However, that was written right around Singles Awareness Day, and in the midst of this whole shakeup I've been on over the past few weeks, my theory has been turned on its head.
One of the things the General and I had in common when we began to pair up on this massive literary undertaking was that we both followed the idea of "Love God, Choose Freely". The whole idea behind LGCF is that as long as you love God for who He is and obey His commandments, it doesn't matter who you pick to be your lifelong mate, (so long as you're not unequally yoked). If you closely examine the Bible after all, there is no mention that God will lead you to a certain individual to marry, nor does it say that everyone marries. All this seems to support LGCF.
However, LGCF implies that God doesn't care who you marry in a sense. And really to be quite honest, I've never really heard much from God that is a clear direction or answer to anything, until I got a "No" regarding my most recent relationship. Which means that LGCF does not apply as wholly as it would like to. And despite my arguments for years against the contrary, I am leaning more towards a belief in the "The One" than ever before. So, once again I concede defeat. LGCF is indeed a faulty idea.
Neo really does exist.
Ok, all jokes aside, "The One" may exist.
That is all.

I stand corrected. God did direct Hosea to marry Gomer, and to stay with her, as an example of Israel's unfaithfulness. Thanks to the General for this correction.
